No Huron report

4/14/2011: Last week I asked Liz Denecke for a copy of the Huron consulting report – which the contract amendment says was to be complete by 3/15. Turns out Dyke and Huron mutually agreed to put it off until the end of June.

OK, I’ve now asked for copies of any reports that actually were prepared by Huron.

This may be a naive question but since Ms. Dyke is on the way out, why is no one supervising her? Who can blame poor Huron for jumping on the gravy train when when there’s no one there to stop them?

I just read this string and it’s appalling. Apparently there are no outcomes, no detailed invoices, and now they get a free ride until June at $140k/month. What a waste of money. Is this simply a lack of management or does the OU have that much spare change to throw away?

June 30 will not be the end. Since the required “report” was again delayed, with no future date set, who knows how long it will take Huron to come up with the Report. If Dyke is the only one reviewing contract renewals, there is no reason to think she will suddenly stop.
