    Administration is chipping away with take backs.
    A union could start empowering faculty by protecting unclassified benefits under the OARs. The kindly Office of Human Resources has been working on abridging OAR leave provisions with UO specific “leaves administration policies” that would end unearned sick leave advance and reclaim hours from accumulated unused vacation balances. The other benefit being considered for the chopping block: “staff rates” for tuition.
    I don’t have a dog in the fight – just thought you should know who your friends are.
