The faculty bargaining team wants to let you know that they are working hard on a response to the University Administration’s raise proposal. Although the University Administration originally gave us the deadline of March 12 to respond, we have been able to work with them to extend that timeline such that we have time to formulate a thoughtful response.
At this point, the faculty negotiating team plans to have a full salary package proposal to present to the University Administration at the regularly scheduled bargaining session on March 19.
We invite all faculty to attend the bargaining sessions on Tuesday and Thursday (122 Knight Library). The team takes its responsibility to represent the faculty seriously, and it is critical to show the University Administration that faculty stand united behind the team.
The sessions begin at 8am and run until noon. Please take the opportunity to attend bargaining and show support for your faculty negotiating team.
Yeah, I’ll bet that’ll really shake ’em up!
