Economist squeaks by anthropologist for Senate seat

Last updated on 06/16/2014

6/16/2014 update: Aided by a massive infusion of PAC cash from redacted t-shirt sales, I managed to get re-elected to the UO Senate.

6/3/2014: Harbaugh campaign speech for run-off election

There are two run-offs for faculty members of the Senate, and elections for the three unfulfilled FPC seats. I’m running for a third Senate term, for a social science tenure track slot. You can see the list of candidates here, and previously elected senators and elected and appointed committee members here. Vote by Duckweb, here. Voting closes Friday.

My campaign platform is for transparency and against athletic subsidies. Here’s my stump speech, in the form of a reply to Provost Coltrane regarding legislation to end those subsidies, in the Senate in November. (Coltrane’s question is at 44:00)

Campaign t-shirts here.
