So, with the Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Complex, whose permission is needed to name the building after a living person? The facilities naming policy still says: “no building or structure shall be named after a living person unless the Oregon State Board of Higher Education makes an exception”. Is it the Board of Trustees now?
Let’s just name it for former UO cheerleader, business graduate, and generous donor Jeffrey Grayson. That wouldn’t require an exception to the policy.
