Stipends–just a couple K? If they’re admitting to bribing recruits to come by building a palace then odds are they’ll like to distance themselves by supporting 3-4K when it comes down to it.
Mullens says “… we’re a student-athlete driven organization..”. What organization? And the never-ending “knight library”, “knight law school” phrasing that leads people to believe neither the library or law school existed before remodels and new buildings.
But this part of the article cracked me up–the CNBC ad line after the opening paragraphs which says “Read more: Sports, crime and money: Athletes gone bad.” haha

A tiny bit of this interview made it to Nightly Business Report on OPB tonight. Eyebrows raised and with smirks, “and that’s just the practice facilities… better win”.
