Here’s my reply to Randy’s “Happy Holidays, you slackers” message to the UO faculty. No wonder he’s so bitter – he just blew $1M in UO money on anti-union lawyers like Sharon Rudnick and permanently trashed his chances of finding another university that will hire him. The faculty, on the other hand, got this:
Thanks for publishing this table but I am a bit confused by
what is meant for “2012 Catchup”. As far as I know the only catchup is for the calendar year 2013 and that would have been 10 months. Your November and December pay actually now does reflect the 1.5% FY 13 ATB. So your January pay will now be
1.5% + 2% larger than November/December pay. I think that is correct.
Also, BTW, the summer salary 2013 ATB has now been applied to everyone (again, as near as I can tell).
I think there is lingering uncertainty about whether or not the FY14 ATB will be applied back to July 1 or Sept 16.
In any event, this is a very useful chart so that individuals can see if they have been treated properly.
Thanks
Hold on, hold on. According to UO administration, this should have taken months to compute. Please tell us that you started on this some time in September. Surely no later than that.
I’m sure they figured out by delaying things they reduced their own liability, while possibily increasing ours.
