Gottfredson’s General Counsel’s office hides Rudnick and Frohnmayer’s HLGR bills under “Misc services and supplies”. That $462K does not include the most recent invoices. What’s that $65K under “other professional services”? Hmm, good question. From what I can tell that was in March, as was about $60K of “Misc”. Aprils was $130K of “Misc”. Guess who’s paying for this. Hint: It’s not Rob Mullens and Dana Altman – they just earned $95K in bonuses.
So let me get this straight, UO can pay top dollar for CPA’s, MBA’s, LLD’s, quants, whatever and whoever the hell they want to be on payroll, and the best they can do is classify outside legal services as “Misc services and supplies?” Not even Miscellaneous, just Misc. Another example of Best and Brightest ending up in academia…
This is why the Senate Budget committee needs to demand line item review of budgets.
The SBC needs to be gutted and replaced, or at least opened up and brought under control of the senate.
