11/13/2016: Chewed up and spit out by big-time Duck football

The people who hang out down at the faculty club have no idea whether or not Coach Matt Helfrich will keep his $3.5M paycheck, or if some booster will buy out his contract for 10 Gottfredsons and replace him with someone with a bit more excellence.

So tonight’s news is about the continued descent of Chip Kelly’s Cliff Harris of “we smoked it all” fame, and of the 3rd or 4th current Helfrich player to be arrested this year. I’ve lost count. At least this time the charges don’t include assault against a woman. If he was a professor he’d be suspended with pay, but of course the NCAA cartel doesn’t let athletes be paid – gotta keep that money for their coaches.
