That would of course be Oregon State University, here. OSU posts these a few weeks after the end of each quarter. UO used to report quarterly as well, but Pres Schill cut this to every six months – supposedly. Actually, UO hasn’t reported pay since Jan 2021, and that was for the month ending Nov 2020. I’m told that IR will post updated data “soon” here. I’ve been told this since this summer. Meanwhile UO has also failed to post the AAUDE faculty comparator data for 19-20, and is way behind posting the 20-21 comparisons.
Short version.
We were behind, now we’re more so.
The university faced something truly shocking with the pandemic, but through cutting costs (using the UI system) temporarily, surging enrollment, increased state support early retirement (employees with highest salaries and PERS costs), two tuition increase, and tuition guarantee (which frontloaded tuition from the future into today), and soaring endowment, the university is in great shape financially, something Moffitt will never admit. She’d rather dump more money into the growing “what if” fund than give us raises.
Is united academics going to go to bat for us? Or end up letting us eat 8 percent inflation as a real pay cut while the university pisses away their extra money on new administrative roles and bloat?
