UO Matters’ operatives have obtained a secret video of Doug Park and the Johnson Hall Executive Leadership Team briefing Schill on the current UO situation, here.
Around the 0 has the rest of the story:
Incoming UO President Michael Schill will return to campus this week for the first of a couple visits in advance of taking office July 1. During the trip, he will meet with students, faculty and others while continuing to learn about the university.
Schill will meet with members of the Faculty Advisory Council, University Senate leadership and other faculty, visit student groups with incoming ASUO President Helena Schlegel and have dinner with Stamps scholars.
On Tuesday, May 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the campus community is invited to meet the president for ice cream bars on the lawn near the Pioneer Mother. The casual gathering is open to all.
He will also meet with interim Vice President for Research and Innovation Brad Shelton about the faculty cluster hiring program and begin his involvement with legislative activities in Salem, including a meeting with Gov. Kate Brown.
On Wednesday, May 13, the incoming president will deliver brief remarks near the conclusion of the University Senate meeting and will participate in a Senate reception in his honor immediately following the final meeting of the academic year.
Those wishing to communicate a message to the incoming president can do so via [email protected].
Another visit is planned for late May.
