Oregon Bar won’t discipline Doug Park & Sam Hill over counseling records

Actually, after 6 months or so, the Bar’s General Counsel Helen Hierschbiel has decided they aren’t even willing to conduct an investigation. Too bad. Who knows, that might have helped clear Park and Hill’s names:
UO: “I’m, uh, pretty sure the lawyer that abruptly resigned didn’t peek at the records that were sitting on top of his desk for months”.
Oregon Bar: “That’s an airtight alibi, case closed.”

Surely you are not suggesting that a professional association might be less than enthusiastic about investigating an allegation against its members by an outsider?
