Your Guarantee of Truthiness: All UO Matters bargaining posts are publicly fact-checked by Geller and Rudnick’s secret team of well paid consultants. Their latest fact-check is here, and if you pay Dave Hubin $285.98 he’ll even tell you who wrote it.
Disclaimer: My opinion of what people said or were thinking but were too decent or well-paid to say. Nothing is a quote unless in quotes.
Prologue from XXXIII on Tuesday (Sorry, I got nothing on Wed.)
- Apparently Rudnick et al are quite upset about my public records request for the transcript the admin team made for 8/22 and 8/23. First they went after me for “distorting” what they say in the sessions. Now they are angry that I’ve asked to see the presumably verbatim transcripts they are taking down themselves. (Typically used by both sides to resolve any post-contract disagreements about meaning.) Gosh, what will it take to make the UO administration happy when it comes to transparency?
- Guest visit from Ernie Benjamin, former AAUP exec director and expert on academic freedom.

Live-blog: Sorry, not today. I tried Luebke, nothing there either: https://www.facebook.com/groups/126059310737990/
Should I make a PR request to Geller for the HLGR notes?
When UOM doesn’t live-blog these bargaining meetings, can it post from or summarize Luebke’s blog? Luebke is only on Facebook (not everyone has a Facebook account).
I second.
“Should I make a PR request to Geller for the HLGR notes?”
Sure. And we can read about it when our great-grandchildren are considering taking a position at the former UO, now referred to as Paradisiacal Shoes INC, Eugene office.
