Now this is the kind of tasty reporting we love to devour.
I think they merely had a typo and it should be a “Ham Hock” meeting where they get together and have some nice soup.
This is not a typo, it’s a coded cry for help from your Trustees. They are going to announce that they are going to the bond market yet again, putting UO even further in what is technically known as “hock”. I hope they have a plan to spend it wisely this time.
Maybe they are discussing sales of marketing materials in order to fill the budget hole created by (fill in the UO Matters hobbyhorse du jour).
I hope their arguments aren’t ad haminem.
OMG.
I will have to figure out how to bring back the like button.
If that comment can’t bring it back, we’re doomed.
It was enough to get the Board to take action – not an easy thing. They’ve now decided these meetings will be merely Ad Hoc, which I think is Latin for whatever’s in the fridge: https://trustees.uoregon.edu/upcoming-meetings
Sounds like the kind of old fashioned meeting where there are spittoons in every corner.
Yech. Why did you have to post this comment? I will never be able to watch our Trustees again without wondering where Chuck Lillis keeps the spittoon.
