UOM, I take great umbrage at your vulgar headline! People do give a shit. Why, it was the flagship’s Pres that said college football enhanced democracy. Without this vital game, USAAmerica marches headlong into communism/socialism/liberalism/Maoism/Stalinism/fascism/alcoholism/slopism and double parking. I expected better from this here blog…

I sincerely and abjectly apologize. My post was in no way meant to give aid or comfort to the enemies of freedom. I agree with Presidents Schill and Trump that our democracy grows weaker every time a college football game is cancelled. IFurrther, I propose that the 2nd Amendment be amended to say:

“A well regulated Football Team, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to watch unpaid student athletes beat each others brains out, shall not be infringed.”
