New Ed School Dean eliminates problematic SAPP program

This change serves as a good reminder that every department is being asked to internalize a budget cut except for athletics. Good on Kamphaus for getting athletics to feel the burn too.

One wonders if the program might have survived had it employed stricter and more thoroughgoing vetting of all its NTTF.

Yeah, it’s really great that the UO has eliminated beloved and rigorous professors. Professors like Connelly, other SAPP instructors, and Kevin Alltucker are completely unnecessary. All of us want to conduct pure research in our professional lives and slander non tenure track instructors.

It’s not slanderous to wonder aloud whether SAPP might have survived had it employed stricter and more thoroughgoing vetting of *all* its NTTF.

Hey now, some of my best seventh-year senior friends made it to graduation with 15-18 SAPP credits to their name.

Lane ought to snap these professors up quickly.
