Title IX work is lousy and stressful. You never make anyone happy. You work and work and work at doing the right thing and find it is incredibly difficult. You complete investigations with both hands tied behind your back (no subpoena power, no ability to compel witnesses). People come to you expecting justice and frequently don’t get it. Someone is always mad at you. Title IX offices are not set up in any way to provide justice for anyone, yet that is the expectation.
