Good article. For all you campus cop haters, pay close attention to page 2 and what they say about PSUPD. Note – I’m speaking of the criminal side of things, not how PSU administration chooses to administratively discipline their OAs.

“Ultimately, the district attorney decided against taking the case to trial, a decision that, years later, the attorney general’s investigators could well understand.”

For the record, UO Matters doesn’t hate cops, campus or otherwise. I don’t hate anyone who does a tough job. I just think the university has better uses for the $1 million a year the conversion is costing, and I’m tired of being lied to about the situation.
