I don’t know. Usually our administration gets very excited about metrics, and these seem to be key ones if you believe in that science stuff. The Oregon Health Authority posts the county numbers here:

Looks like Boulder had 9 in 5 days in about the same time frame as Oregon had 3 in a week. Hey, I’ll take that. And Alabama has a thousand total, dozens of times more than us!
Of course, the fall term has started in Alabama and Colorado. I suspect our student infection rate will go up in a month once we have actual students.
