Duck football brings still more glory and invaluable publicity to the University of Oregon.
UO’s contract with athletic director Rob Mullens pays him an extra $50,000 for the work and good publicity associated with getting the Ducks into a bowl game:
But he faces no penalties for allowing the coaches to recruit athletes who bring UO bad publicity like this. The players of course get nothing either way, and will be chewed up and spit out.
MG just needs to tweak his snowball fight email and hit resend.
Well sure. But it’s not on the calendar.
Maybe he should just block out a few hours each week, to write apologies for the latest craziness from the U of Nike athletic department and his executive leadership team?
I’d be willing to take over this part of the job. Templates United… name of my new biz. However, I’d be concerned that S.Dotters-K might find me far too impure. Sigh.
I guess the new football palace has really brought a lot of class to the team!
Dude, do some digging. This didn’t happen last night but we’re just now hearing about it. Why?
Good point, makes me wonder what else we’re not being told. Looks like the AP is going to try and find out for us: http://publicrecords.uoregon.edu/content/records-regarding-student-athletes
