Huh? This seems like quite a reach to make a helpful map (though logically obvious of ice laden danger zones) into something that’s supposed to raise my blood pressure? You can do better than this. I would be embarrassed to call this “news”.

I think it’s meant as entertainment. But in today’s world, it’s admittedly hard to tell the difference.

Indeed. UOMatters is on the bleeding edge of the fake news business. If Bill produced a map showing what parts of the campus are open to speech activities by university entities, it would cover every square inch of the outside areas of the campus, while a map showing what interior space might be reserved for speech activities for University entities would cover nearly every building, save for residence halls, offices, research labs and administrative space.
Uh,Kevin, what about that law professor in the Halloween costume in her own home?
If you really think UO is a free speech zone, you are dreaming.

To be fair to uomatters, this map does reflect areas where Admin is restricting free assembly.

That would be a truthy coincidence. I’m just pissed because UO has hired Sperry Tree Service to clean up the deserted campus, so they’re too busy to take down the oaks that are about to crush my house. Say what you will about PLC, at least it still has power, internet, and some heat. No shower though.

Thanks Kevin – I try to keep it real, but it can be tough getting public records from your office. Thanks for those Bias Response docs though – only six months after FIRE paid for them. http://senate.uoregon.edu/entry/?Committees=Bias%20Education%20and%20Response%20Team%20Task%20Force
