I bet a petition to open all the records at the UO Foundation would be a better way to make UO more accountable (that is if everyone without a Knight professorship signed it). I know they would not open the records but the secrecy there seems to be the underlying source of UO mismanagement. The role of foundations seems to be overlooked in the world today. More scrutiny could result (eventually) in better outcomes in the long term.

A “no confidence” in our AWOL board of trustees makes more sense. Where were these folks when the Admin promoted white elephant after white elephant, added more VPs, increased UOPD funding, etc, which put is in this particularly vulnerable position, even modulo COVID-19?
