This is not a typo, it’s a coded cry for help from your Trustees. They are going to announce that they are going to the bond market yet again, putting UO even further in what is technically known as “hock”. I hope they have a plan to spend it wisely this time.

Maybe they are discussing sales of marketing materials in order to fill the budget hole created by (fill in the UO Matters hobbyhorse du jour).

It was enough to get the Board to take action – not an easy thing. They’ve now decided these meetings will be merely Ad Hoc, which I think is Latin for whatever’s in the fridge: https://trustees.uoregon.edu/upcoming-meetings
