Knight has some interesting ideas on how UO can play this. Though it seems he’s been distracted trying to influence the governor’s race, donating heavily to a 3rd party spoiler in the hopes to give a republican candidate a chance.

There’s some thinking that Drazan and Betsy are going for the same pile, leaving Tina for the win….time will tell. Phil sure went in big for Betsy, it’s all you can do to avoid her TV ads.

FiveThirtyEight is showing more or less a three-way tie and the National Review sure seems to be happy about Betsy being in the race. It’s a moronic candidacy aimed at people who aren’t paying enough attention to realize that “woke Democrats” is right-wing propaganda.

Since this conversation has careened off into a complete tangent…in Betsy Johnson’s latest ad, she says “In Oregon right now you either can’t afford to buy a home, you can’t afford to keep your home, or you’re already homeless…” So it begs the question: which of those three are you, Betsy? (and if you’re desperate, Dana Altman’s tent is possibly available now)
She long on problems and short on solution. She says she’ll take the best ideas of each party, but then leaves it up to us to guess which ones those are…

Didn’t see this coming… (And they said sarcasm was dead. Yeah, right.)https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2022/08/report-oregon-has-preliminary-discussions-with-big-ten-about-potential-conference-realignment.html

No thanks, Betsy.
