Yeah, when I first heard that, I said, “Riiiiight…” out loud, as part of a many-voiced chorus. Which, of course, started a conversation, and got people thinking about what it means to make such an audacious statement.

That whole OSU website is good reading. Three goals, 5 actions top 5 strategic targets, implementation. The actual target is 80% graduation in 6 years.

Scholz’s strategic initiatives have similarities, but not as clearly defined. UO is by nature messier (call it heterogeneous) than our engineering neighbor, but I’m lacking optimism that we can do anything top down. CAS is broken. Kind of want to move to OSU….
